Trump’s FBI Scores Major Win with Capture of MS-13 Gang Leader

President Donald J. Trump has once again reinforced his message to those who bring violence and destruction to American communities — justice will find them.

In a major breakthrough, Francisco Javier Roman-Bardales, a high-ranking member of the notorious MS-13 gang, has been extradited from Mexico to the United States to face federal charges. FBI Director Kash Patel announced the arrest, confirming that another name from the bureau’s “Ten Most Wanted” list has been crossed off.

Roman-Bardales was sought for his alleged involvement in drug trafficking, extortion operations in both the U.S. and El Salvador, and for ordering multiple violent attacks targeting civilians and rival gang members.

Since President Trump returned to office, federal authorities have successfully tracked down several dangerous fugitives. Roman-Bardales marks the third major capture from the FBI’s most wanted roster.

  • January 30, 2025: Arnoldo Jimenez, wanted for first-degree murder, was arrested.
  • January 25, 2025: Donald Eugene Fields II, accused of child rape and human trafficking, was also taken into custody.

The Trump Administration has reiterated its commitment to public safety, emphasizing that it will take every necessary measure to protect American citizens and bring violent offenders to justice.
