President Donald J. Trump has once again sent a clear message to those who bring chaos, violence, and fear into American communities — their days of impunity are over. Under his administration, law enforcement agencies have intensified their pursuit of dangerous fugitives, ensuring that justice reaches even the most elusive offenders.
The latest success came with the arrest and extradition of Francisco Javier Roman-Bardales, a senior leader of the notorious MS-13 gang, from Mexico to the United States. FBI Director Kash Patel announced the capture just one day after confirming that another member of the agency’s “Ten Most Wanted” list had been apprehended.
Roman-Bardales faces serious federal charges for his alleged involvement in drug distribution, extortion networks, and coordinating brutal acts of violence targeting both civilians and rival gang members across the United States and El Salvador. His capture marks another significant victory in the Trump Administration’s ongoing war against organized crime and transnational violence.
This milestone comes on the heels of two other major arrests in January 2025:
Arnoldo Jimenez, wanted for first-degree murder, was captured on January 30, 2025.
Donald Eugene Fields II, sought for child rape and child sex trafficking, was taken into custody on January 25, 2025.
These back-to-back successes underscore the administration’s unwavering commitment to restoring law and order nationwide.
“Protecting the safety and security of every American family is our top priority,” President Trump has repeatedly stated — and these arrests stand as tangible proof. Through decisive leadership and relentless pursuit of justice, the Trump Administration continues to demonstrate that no criminal, no matter how far they run, can escape accountability.
