Kash Patel, now making waves as FBI Director under President Donald Trump, is drawing attention for more than just his powerful new role. The 45-year-old political figure is in a steady relationship with 26-year-old country singer and Capitol Hill press secretary, Alexis Wilkins — and she’s finally opening up about their life together.
From Nashville Stages to Capitol Hill
Wilkins’ story is anything but ordinary. The daughter of an Armenian-American Navy veteran and a mother who worked in aerospace and pharmaceuticals, she grew up between Switzerland, England, and Arkansas before settling in Nashville to chase her country music dreams.

The couple first crossed paths in October 2022 at a conservative ReAwaken America event, and by January 2023, they were officially dating — months before Patel’s nomination as FBI Director.
As for their nearly two-decade age difference, Wilkins says it’s never been a concern. “After a few minutes talking to me, you probably wouldn’t even think I’m dating a 26-year-old,” she told The Daily Mail. “It’s always made sense to us and to everyone who knows us. There’s really no need to explain it.”
She describes their relationship as being “on a good path,” emphasizing that they’re focused on enjoying life together rather than rushing into an engagement.
Shutting Down Online Rumors
Life in the spotlight comes with challenges, and Wilkins hasn’t been immune to online speculation. After facing baseless conspiracy theories linking her to the Epstein case, she revealed she blocked the word “honeypot” from her Instagram.
Calling the rumors “scraping the bottom of the barrel,” Wilkins was quick to set the record straight — noting she met Patel long before his FBI appointment.
