Tim Tebow and his wife, former Miss Universe Demi-Leigh Tebow, are officially parents.
The couple took to Instagram Monday to share the exciting news of their daughter’s arrival, posting a series of emotional black-and-white photos taken in the hospital. The pictures captured their first tender moments as a family of three, with both parents clearly overwhelmed with love and gratitude.
“She’s Here!”
The 37-year-old former football star and 28-year-old pageant queen beamed with joy as they held their newborn in the intimate images. In the caption, they thanked fans for their prayers and expressed deep appreciation for the blessing of their new daughter.
“We are so thankful for the precious gift of this little life,” the caption read. The couple also took a moment to recognize their medical team and close friend Hannah Janoe, who documented what they described as “one of the most meaningful moments of our lives.”
Though they initially kept her name under wraps, they teased followers by saying, “We can’t wait to share her name with you soon.”
Introducing Daphne Reign Tebow
Just a few hours later, the Tebows followed up with another post — this time revealing their daughter’s name: Daphne Reign Tebow.
Demi-Leigh explained the personal significance behind the name. “Daphne” honors her late aunt, who played a grandmotherly role in her life after the passing of her own grandmother. “Reign,” on the other hand, was chosen for its spiritual meaning — a reminder, they shared, of their faith and belief in a higher purpose.
“She’s a child of the King,” they wrote. “Her name is a reflection of identity, love, and calling — not about ruling in power, but in purpose.” They called her “our answered prayer” and ended the post by celebrating her as “His princess.”
A Joyful New Season
The Tebows first announced their pregnancy earlier this year in January, saying they were “over the moon” to be starting their journey as parents. The arrival of baby Daphne adds yet another beautiful chapter to their life together.
The couple married in 2020 and recently marked five years of marriage. Their story, built on shared values of faith and purpose, continues to inspire many.
