Kat Timpf is officially making her return to television after stepping away earlier this year to focus on her health and growing family. The 36-year-old FOX News personality will be joining forces with Greg Gutfeld and comedian Jamie Lissow in an all-new reality-style program streaming on Fox Nation.
Timpf, who has been a familiar face on Gutfeld!, went on maternity leave in February following the birth of her son and a serious health scare involving a breast cancer diagnosis. After taking time to recover and embrace new motherhood, she’s ready to get back to work—and back on screen.
Her comeback show, What Did I Miss?, brings an intriguing twist to reality TV. The series centers on four participants who spent nearly three months—from January 20 to April 13—in complete isolation in Upstate New York. Cut off from phones, internet, television, and social media, the contestants now face the challenge of piecing together major news events they missed, particularly from the early days of the Trump administration.
In each episode, the isolated contestants are presented with a mix of real and fictional news stories. Their task? Separate fact from fiction. The high-stakes guessing game unfolds in front of a live audience, with a $500,000 prize on the line for the winner.
Greg Gutfeld serves as host, while Timpf and Lissow provide colorful commentary and insight from the panel. Timpf shared her excitement on X (formerly Twitter), saying, “Very excited for this—I’m on the panel with my quirky little friend @jamie_lissow,” reposting Gutfeld’s announcement of the show.
What Did I Miss? is set to premiere on May 12, with two more episodes to follow on May 13 and 14.
FOX Nation President Lauren Petterson praised the new series, saying, “Reality often outpaces fiction when it comes to today’s headlines. Who better than Greg Gutfeld to guide these isolated contestants through the wild world of news they missed?”
Subscribers to FOX Nation will have exclusive access to the show, which marks Gutfeld’s debut in a game show format, adding another layer of intrigue to an already unpredictable concept.
