Authorities allege these individuals violated election laws by forging signatures, registering non-citizens to vote, manipulating ballots after they were cast, and collecting votes to deposit in drop boxes illegally.
This case adds fuel to ongoing concerns raised by conservatives about election vulnerabilities, especially in Democrat-heavy areas. The surge in absentee voting during the 2020 elections has been a point of contention, with critics pointing to documented cases of ballot tampering and other suspicious activities.
The story broke on social media platform X on February 21, 2025, when a widely shared post announced, “ELECTION INTEGRITY UPDATE: Wanda Geter-Pataky, Vice Chair of the Connecticut Democratic Party, surrendered to authorities after being caught interfering with ballot boxes during the 2023 Democratic Primary.”
The post sparked a wave of reactions, particularly from conservative commentators who voiced their frustration. One wrote, “Election fraud is real—it’s not just a media myth.
