Kayleigh McEnany, former White House press secretary and current co-host of Outnumbered on Fox News, had exciting personal news to share during the March 17 broadcast. With a beaming smile, McEnany told viewers that she and her husband, Sean Gilmartin, are expecting their third child.
“I’ve been teasing a big announcement,” she said on-air, before adding with joy, “Sean and I are thrilled to be expecting our third baby.” The baby is due in June, and McEnany mentioned plans for a gender reveal that will be shared both on social media and live during the show.
McEnany and Gilmartin, who married in 2017, are already parents to two young children—daughter Blake, who is five, and son Nash, age two.
Sean Gilmartin is best known for his time as a professional baseball player. Born in August 1990 in Thousand Oaks, California, the left-handed pitcher was drafted by the Atlanta Braves as the 28th overall pick in the 2011 MLB Draft. At the time, Braves scouting director Tony DeMacio called him “a quality left-handed pitcher with great make-up and excellent pitchability,” expressing confidence in his future in the league.
Over the course of his career, Gilmartin pitched for several teams, including the New York Mets, Baltimore Orioles, and Tampa Bay Rays. He stepped away from the sport after the 2021–22 season, according to reports from The U.S. Sun.
Despite his public sports career, Gilmartin tends to keep a low online profile. His Instagram, which has over 16,000 followers, features snapshots of his outdoor hobbies—particularly hunting—as well as photos of his dogs, Boomer and Lexi.
The couple began dating in 2015 and tied the knot two years later. Though Gilmartin isn’t very active online, he occasionally shares posts in support of McEnany’s work, including promoting her published books.
As they prepare to welcome their third child this summer, McEnany and Gilmartin continue to balance family life and public careers—sharing their journey with fans along the way.
