Trump Casts Doubt on Biden’s Cancer Diagnosis, Calls for Transparency

In a move that’s stirred fresh controversy, Donald Trump has publicly questioned the accuracy of President Joe Biden’s recent cancer diagnosis, just days after initially offering words of sympathy.

President Biden, 82, was diagnosed with an aggressive form of prostate cancer after seeking medical attention for worsening urinary symptoms. According to a medical update, the cancer has already metastasized to his bones and is classified as a high-grade case with a Gleason score of 9 (Grade Group 5).

The President addressed the news in a personal post on X (formerly Twitter), writing: “Cancer touches us all. Like so many of you, Jill and I have learned that we are strongest in the broken places. Thank you for lifting us up with love and support.”

In an early response that appeared heartfelt, Trump offered support to the Bidens despite their political rivalry. He posted: “Melania and I are saddened to hear about Joe Biden’s recent medical diagnosis. We extend our warmest and best wishes to Jill and the family, and we wish Joe a fast and successful recovery.”

But that tone took a sharp turn during a follow-up statement from the White House. When questioned by a reporter about Biden’s health, Trump expressed skepticism over how the information was disclosed and suggested that the situation might not be as clear-cut as presented.

“I’m surprised the public wasn’t informed much earlier. To be at stage nine—well, that takes a long time to reach,” Trump said. (Note: Prostate cancer stages are not typically referred to numerically past stage IV, adding to the confusion and scrutiny over his comments.)

He continued: “If you notice, it’s the same doctor who once said Biden was mentally fit. Maybe it’s the same person, and someone’s not giving the full picture.”

Trump implied that the American people may have been left in the dark about serious health matters, calling it “very dangerous.” He then pivoted to highlight his own medical track record, claiming he had passed both physical and cognitive evaluations with flying colors.

“I think people deserve to know the truth,” he added. “Something doesn’t add up here.”
